Perhaps one of the most exciting and balanced Beaujolais we’ve had in a WHILE! On the nose, wild blueberry, red plum, and fresh violet petals. The palate is richly fruited and structured with a silky mouthfeel and integrated acidity. Semi-carbonic maceration offers tons of fresh red fruit on the palate.
Morgon is the largest Beaujolais cru, with Corcelette being considered one of the premiere vineyard sites in all of the area. Nicolas Chemarin farms five hectares of land amongst the greater Beaujolais region, with vineyard sites in several crus. He is the fourth-generation to farm his family’s land in the village of Marchampt.
